Analogue Store, 2026

A new store for Analogue Amsterdam on the Zeedijk, built by Humansize in aluminium extrusion with 3D printed displays.

At its centre are three large rolling vitrines with stainless steel panelling, a glass worksurface and backlit milk glass, so the cameras sit in the best possible light.

I took it from CAD to finished counters. Every connection and tolerance was worked out before the parts were ordered. Then came hundreds of 3D printed pieces, countless tapped holes, and plenty of taking things apart and putting them back together. Extrusion is unforgiving, and everything has to go together in exactly the right order.

Gallery

The second room gives back to the photographers who shoot with these cameras. It's a gallery of extrusion, steel cables and 3D printed parts that holds their prints in mid-air.
